Today we remember and honor the life of Weymouth Police Sgt. Michael Chesna who was killed in the line of duty five years ago. We also honor and remember the life of Vera Adams, an innocent person killed by the fleeing perpetrator who murdered Sgt. Chesna.
Our thoughts and prayers are with their families who unfortunately have not received Justice for the murder of their love one. We are hopeful that Justice will be rendered and these brave family members can have some sense of closure. May God bless them and continue to protect all of our first responders who continue to serve and protect us.
