We appreciate any involvement, big or small – it all goes a long way!
Here are some specific ways you can get involved with the K9 Kitt Foundation.
1. Host a CrossFit Workout
We’ve had the privilege of partnering with CrossFit gyms to host our Kitt WOD to raise awareness and funds for K9 programs. These events are a fun and impactful way for gym members to come together for a good cause while getting in a great workout.
We created the K9Kitt workout as a way to honor K9 Kitt’s service and sacrifice. Each movement and rep count reflects key aspects of his story:
- 21 rounds – for the year of the incident (June 4, 2021) with 200m 80lbs weighted carry for Kitt’s weight.
- 6 - Deadlifts for the month of June
- 5 - Hang Power Cleans for the rounds that hit Billy.
- 4 - Squats 4th day of June.
- 3 - Shoulder to Overhead for how many times Kitt was shot.

Throughout the year, we have many opportunities for you or your organization to become involved with events we’re running.
We are excited to have a team in the Falmouth road race in August and we are always looking for groups that want to sponsor us. We will proudly display your group on our running jerseys! We have more races to be announced so stay tuned!
Our annual corn-hole event is a great way to get involved, last year we had 240 attendees with 100 teams playing. We’d love for your company to join us whether that’s sponsoring the event or donating raffle items, while promoting your brand.
